We are musicians too. We launched Moontown Sounds because we love collaborating with artists to create new songs and because we think we can do it in a way that makes sense for us and the artists we work with.
Our deals are simple and fair. We all bring something to the table — you bring your talent — and we all succeed together.
We are out there listening. Especially if you are in the Houston area. Wherever you are, the best way for us to hear you is to follow us on social media and tag us. We want to hear the sounds you are making.
We make things.
We are always looking for artists to collaborate with — usually on singles or short EPs. We produce, co-write, and sometimes shoot video. We bring the room, the ears, and the stubbornness to get it right.
If you have a song or a sound you want to chase, send it our way. We will listen.
We place things.
We are always on the lookout for independent artists who control their own publishing and own their masters — especially artists based in Texas and along the Gulf Coast.
If your songs are fully cleared and ready to license, we want to hear them. We pitch music to supervisors, filmmakers, trailers, and brands, and we do it with artists who keep control of their work.
We organize things.
From time to time we also work with artists to register, catalog, and compile clean metadata for the songs they have already made — so everything is ready for use, and so artists have a clear picture of what they have built.
